Man's best friend
Our best friend we find in recovery was and always will be our Lord. He knows exactly how good we really are and the proof of that is the Grace which He despenses lavishly upon all of us in small group and recovery rooms around the country.
Just how easy is it to get in his good graces... turn to him with a sincere heart and a willingness to change and you will see for yourself. Big change in short order!
Don't believe us ask anyone who has something you want and they will tell you. He is real. He can and will help you, but only if you let Him and accept what he offers you without bulking.
See how the dog looks at his master with complete trust. That is the way we need to look to God with TRUST!
Remember his plan for you is very different from your plan for you. Look at where your plan got you! ( nuff said ) His plan will take you to a compleatly new place of true fulfillment.
It's like following an invisible trail where the clues just appear in front of you in the form of other people... will you take their suggestion or will you just keep doing it your way. Try something new what do you have to lose? It's up to you! |
