It's broke and "I" can't fix it!

Step zero is understanding  just that.... but take heart, for instead of scrambled, with an HONEST heartfelt effort, most of us  turn out sunny-side-up!

Read the first 164 pages of the big book and see if you are convinced!  If you are not, and don't have that honest desire for recovery, then no amount of TRYING can correct the problem. You my friend are still making that daily decision to run on self will.

Wounded? ... this also does not work, for most of these folks play the victim card. Now if you are broken Ahhhh then we have something we can work with. As they told us... broken we could fall on the rock and be saved from futher misery far better than having the rock fall on us. To think at anytime that we have the answers and can fix our own problems is to miss the point completely. You don't know the way... that's why your here. The good news is that there is one who does and He can and will help you, if you seek Him.

" IF He Were Sought " ... Humbly, Honestly and with lots and lots of help from others in the fellowships. Know that we love you because we understand you.

Hang in there. If you do not have this critical element or have lost the willingness to go to any lenght one sure way to find it again is to connect once again with another new in recovery. You will find what you are looking for in them.  "Where two or more are gathered I am there"... this would be the divine Love we need to heal the hole inside of us... which had eluded all of us for such a long time.
