Living alone on Human Island?

As our good friend John the Baptist put it, "Less of me and more of Him". We must allow His Grace into our hearts through our free-will choice, nothing less will do ... LESS of us so that there can be MORE of Him. Filled with self-will, we can only do one thing... ourselves. We get what we give, so if we give nothing, that is what we receive... 

Remember, in the beginning were all takers! We must learn to become givers so that we may be able to recieve.

Self is a very lonely place. It is the place called isolation. We are lost in the land of self.  As they explained to us in the rooms, " A sick mind cannot  heal itself. "  WE ARE the isolators, the loners... rest assured, we have all been deceived.  The proof of that can be found through regular meeting attendence, or small groups. IF you go you will begin to see for yourself  that it was all a lie - the guilt and shame we piled upon ourselves because of the crazy things we did when we were under the infuence of alcohol (SPIRITS)  and drugs.

As we become sober and gain clarity, we join with others in recovery circles and allow God to reveal the truth. We now understand that we are, indeed, loved by our creator. Ask anyone with time and they will tell you.... Just allow His precious light of Grace into your heart and mind.  

By this way we have all "Come To" that new place that we would have never discovered because of the blindness of addiction.... that blessed place beyond OUR wildest dreams!
